How far is it to the city center? How can I get there?

Livensa Living Granada Cartuja is located within a 30-minute walk from the city center.
If you prefer to go by bus, the N8 and N9 bus stops are only two minutes away from the residence, taking you to the Cathedral in less than 15 minutes.
By car, it’ll only take you 10 minutes!

Is there a gym?

Yes, we have a gym and an outdoor exercise area you can enjoy 24/7.

Are meals included?

Livensa Living Granada Cartuja has an agreement with the Facultad de Economía at the Universidad de Granada, so you can access through the connecting door and eat at their cafeteria whenever you like.

In your room and in the residence, you also have kitchens, so you can cook your own favorite meals whenever you want! and no-worries if you aren’t a cooking expert, we offer cooking classes for you!

How do you get to the Sierra Nevada or the beach by public transport?

It takes approximately 45 minutes to get to the Sierra Nevada by bus; take the bus from the Estación de Autobuses de Granada (Avenida Juan Pablo II) to Pradollano. The fare is €5 for a single ticket or €9 for a return.

It takes about 55 minutes to get to the beach by bus; take the bus from the Estación de Autobuses de Granada (Avenida Juan Pablo II) to Salobreña. Fares start at €6.71; but if you’re just going to Motril, fares start at €3.

Which is the closest health center or hospital to the residence?

The Centro de Salud Doctor Caballero García is the closest health center, its address is Dr. Azpitarte, 4, 18012, Granada. Also, nearby is the Hospital Universitario Virgen de las Nieves, which is at Avenida de las Fuerzas Armadas, 2, 18014, Granada.
Non-EU foreign residents must have private health insurance if you have any questions regarding this theme please contact our call center so they can provide you with everything you need to know.

Which is the closest supermarket to the residence?

There’s a Covirán 5 minutes from the residence and a Mercadona 15 minutes away. Although you can also order groceries to be delivered to the residence so long as you’re present to receive the delivery.

Will the kitchenware be included in my room?

No, it is not included, you will have to bring your own.

Are bed linens and towels included?

No, neither bed linens nor towels are included. In the residence, we provide mattress protectors, but you will have to bring your own bedsheets, pillow and towels.

Which universities are close to the residence?

The Cartuja campus of the University of Granada is very close, in fact, just at a walking distance.

The Faculty of Economics is next door, we have an access door that connects the residence with the faculty, you’ll be there in less than a minute.

For those faculties that are further away, you can take the bus, U2, and U3 stop next to the residence. These are the university buses, and they run from Monday to Friday, it won’t take you long to get there!
